Promote Earning and Savings for Kids

Contest:
Pre-kindergarten through sixth grade students in the region starting in March will have an opportunity to draw ways that they have earned or could earn money to save.

The winners will WIN a pizza party for their classroom with Star the Yeti. It will be extra special because Star is helping North Star Credit Union celebrate 85 years by hosting parties! So, there will also be treats.

Rules:
To enter, the student would draw on a regular piece of paper one way he/she will earn money to save for an item that they want. The student would write the total dollar amount he/she wants to earn and turn it into the teacher or parent.

The contest is open to PreK-6 students in St. Louis, Carlton, and Itasca Counties.

There will be one winner at each of the following: North Woods, MI-B, Nashwauk-Keewatin, Laura MacArthur, Cherry, Rock Ridge, and an online entry from any area school.

Note: If you are not sure if your teacher is participating, then you can ask him/her. Kids also have the option of having your parent send in the entry! Kids of staff can participate and win! Pizza parties have to be approved by the teacher in order for us to be able to bring Star to your school. The winners will be chosen randomly.

To qualify, contest entries would be sent to marketing@northstarcreditunion.org no later than Friday, April 5.
