We’re excited to launch the North Star Credit Union Vacation Giveaway, where we’ll be awarding five $1,500 travel gift cards throughout the year to help members and community participants take the vacation they’ve been dreaming about.

What You Could Win
Each giveaway period, one winner will receive:
$1,500 Travel Gift Card
The gift card can be used with Expedia or a comparable travel provider, making it easy to book:
- Flights
- Hotels
- Weekend getaways
- Family vacations
- Cruises
- Adventure trips
With five drawings throughout the promotion, that means five opportunities for someone in our community to win $1,500 toward their next trip.
Giveaway Schedule
Each entry period has its own drawing, so be sure to enter during every period for another chance to win.

Each drawing selects one winner at random from eligible entries received during that entry period.
How to Enter
Entering the giveaway is easy.
You can submit a free entry by doing ONE of the following:
- Entering online.
- Completing an entry form at any North Star Credit Union branch
- Entering at a North Star booth at a community event or home show
Ways to Earn Bonus Entries
Want to increase your chances? You can earn additional entries by participating in North Star Credit Union programs and activities.
Become a North Star Credit Union Member
Open a membership and receive one bonus entry during the promotion.
Membership requires opening a share account with a $10 deposit, which remains your money and is refundable according to credit union policies.
Membership is not required to enter or win.
Refer a Friend
If someone you refer becomes a North Star Credit Union member and lists you as the referral, you’ll receive one bonus entry.
Listen to the Financial Compass Podcast
Tune in to our Financial Compass Podcast and complete the entry form on the promotion page to receive one bonus entry.

Attend a Financial Wellness Event or Read a Wellness Blog
Attend a North Star financial wellness event or webinar and receive one bonus entry.
These sessions cover helpful topics like budgeting, saving, credit building, and financial planning.
Visit the North Star website, read one of our financial wellness blog posts, and complete the promotional form to earn an additional entry.
Social Media Entries
Take a photo with Star the Yeti, North Star Credit Union’s mascot to earn one bonus entry.
and / or
Take a photo one of the Vacation Stations located in our branches to earn one bonus entry.
Then:

Make sure your post is set to public so we can verify your entry.
Attend a Vacation Event
Join us at one of our North Star Vacation Events and earn one bonus entry.
These events will be for the first entry period only, with dates to be scheduled in May.
