COOK – North Star Credit Union (NSCU) was recognized at a state level for its marketing efforts.

NSCU took home four marketing awards in a statewide marketing competition through the Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN).
Winners were honored at a ceremony at Holman’s Table in St. Paul last week.

The award program recognizes outstanding efforts in the areas of design, digital advertising, engagement & outreach, video, and complete campaigns.

​​“Minnesota credit unions are doing remarkable things to grow brand awareness and market to members and nonmembers alike,” said MnCUN Vice President of Communications & Engagement Andrea Molnau. “The statewide awards program was very competitive this year! We would like to congratulate the winners and thank all of credit unions who submitted creative and innovative projects.”

North Star was awarded in the following categories:
Complete Campaign
Less than $100 million: North Star Credit Union, “1.99% Vehicle Loans”
Design
Less than $100 million: North Star Credit Union, “Mining for Good Rates”
Digital Advertising
Less than $100 million: North Star Credit Union, “New Branch: Grand Opening & Shopping Spree”
Engagement & Outreach
Less than $100 million: North Star Credit Union, “Family Fun Day”

Jennifer Stedt, interim CEO for NSCU, expressed excitement about the recognition and the outreach efforts of the credit union and its marketing by Marketing Specialist Melissa Cox.

“We are thrilled to be recognized for the work that we put into marketing throughout the year,” said Stedt. “I know Melissa puts her heart into everything she does for North Star and its members, and this recognition is a huge confirmation.”

North Star Credit Union has branches in Brooks, Cook, Duluth, Nashwauk, and Virginia.
