All are welcome to attend North Star Credit Union’s (NSCU) Duluth Branch relocation celebration and ribbon cutting from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 24. The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting at noon.

The event will feature Star the Yeti, the NSCU Mascot and a local celebrity! (Watch NSCU’s Facebook page for a chance to guess who the celebrity will be).

Lunch from the Log Home Wood Fired Pizza food truck is on NSCU for the first 50 attendees to the event and there will be prizes from Duluth area businesses including a chance to win a $1,000 North Shore Getaway*, a $500 Menards Gift Card, a Blackstone Grill and Adolph gift certificate, a $250 Super One Gift Card, and two UMD Football Tickets in the Club Lounge. New members to North Star Credit Union Duluth branch during the month of August will receive five entries for these prizes. Other ways to enter include:

• Receive 5 entries for becoming a new member at our Duluth branch.
• Receive an additional 5 entries for becoming a new member in Duluth and depositing $100 in a checking account during promotional time. One submission per person.
• Receive 10 entries for current Duluth members and depositing $100 during promotional time. One submission per person.

Kids are welcome to attend the event for their chance to win a big kid’s prize from the gum-ball machine to include certificates for Sky Zone Trampoline Park, Children’s Museum, Great Lakes Aquarium, North Shore Train Ride, Adventure Zone, Skyline Social & Games, Candy Store and Ice Cream Shop. Each child will receive something, such as a gumball, a Yeti craft, or a $2 bill.

Adult attendees will also have a chance to enter to WIN additional local prizes including certificates to the following: Cedar and Stone Sauna, The West Theatre, Pebble Spa, Bloom Wilder Florist, Baileys Builds, Vikre Distillery, Duluth Cider, Clyde Iron Works, Corktown Deli & Brews, and Mr. D’s Bar & Grill.

Additional Giveaway for Business Members:

New business members to the Duluth branch that deposit money during the promotion will receive a chance to win a Yeti Cooler. New business accounts opened during August will receive a Yeti slim can cooler, a 12-pack of Bubbl’r, and five entries for the Yeti Cooler. Additional ways to enter include:
