North Star Recognized at a State Level For Marketing

NSCU Receives Four Marketing Awards

COOK – North Star Credit Union (NSCU) was recognized at a state level for its marketing efforts.

NSCU took home four marketing awards in a statewide marketing competition through the Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN).

Winners were honored at a ceremony at Holman’s Table in St. Paul yesterday.

The award program recognizes outstanding efforts in the areas of design, digital advertising, engagement & outreach, video, and complete campaigns.

​​“We are excited to be recognized for the work that our team has done in marketing,” said Jennifer Stedt, CEO of NSCU. “We have been creating promotions and implementing giveaways that we hope are impactful to our members. It is a great honor to be recognized for our efforts.”

North Star was awarded in the following categories:

Complete Campaign
Less than $100 million: North Star Credit Union, “Bank Your Way. Anytime. Anywhere.”
This campaign focused on creating awareness that you can bank anytime, anywhere with North Star Credit Union.

Design
Less than $100 million: North Star Credit Union, “Birth of the Yeti: A Star is Born”
This campaign focused on the creation of our mascot Star and the connections that she made in the community.

Video
Less than $100 million: North Star Credit Union, “Youth Saving Money.”
Our objective was to engage area students and teach them about saving money, and the credit union as a safe place to save money.


Engagement & Outreach
Less than $100 million: North Star Credit Union, “Yeti to Read: I Love to Read Month.”

Our goal of Yeti to Read during “I Love to Read” Month was to introduce our new mascot, Star the Yeti, to students and educators throughout the region.
