All are welcome to attend North Star Credit Union’s (NSCU) Mountain Iron Celebration and Ribbon Cutting from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31.

The Laurentian Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting at noon at our new location at 8586 Rock Ridge Drive. WTBX will be there LIVE!

The event will feature FREE Iron Range ethnic food to the first 100 guests or while supplies last including porketta sandwiches, mini pasties, and potica. We will also be having Swedish meatballs, pasta salad & coleslaw – all from Paul’s Marketing & Catering of Eveleth. There will be Super One Foods cookies, and also coffee and refreshments.

The event will feature prizes for kids in the gumball machine and photos with Star the Yeti!

As part of the celebration, we will be giving away gift cards to local businesses including the grand prize of $1,000 to L&M Fleet Supply, $500 to Super One Foods, and $250 to Pebble Spa. Gift cards of $25.00 will be given to other local businesses including:

How to Enter:

• Receive 1 entry: by going into the Mountain Branch and signing up throughout the month of January. No purchase necessary.
• Receive 10 entries: by attending the Mountain Iron Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting on January 31.
• Receive 1 entry: for bringing a NSCU business card entry to the event. These will be handed out to local businesses and will be available for pick-up in January at the Mountain Iron branch.
• Receive 10 entries: by opening a new account at our Mountain Iron branch. This applies to all new accounts since we opened.
• Receive 5 entries: by current members who refer a new member to our Mountain Iron branch. They must mention the name of the person who referred them to our MSRs when they become a new member.
