One on One and Group Educational Sessions Medicare Meetings Available
North Star Credit Union’s Trusted Advisor, Tammy, is available for you to answer questions and provide valuable information about Medicare in our Cook, Duluth, Mountain Iron, and Nashwauk offices.
We understand that making sense of Medicare isn’t always easy. That’s why we’ve partnered with TruLync Medicare Advisors to bring trusted guidance and local resources right to our members.
We’re offering private one-hour sessions at all of our branch locations. These meetings give you a chance to sit down one on one with a licensed Medicare advisor who can answer your questions, explain your options, and help you feel confident in your choices. Space is limited, so we encourage members to sign up early. In addition, we will have group education sessions available throughout the year.

TruLync offers 8 insurance carriers that provide 61 plan options in the following states. MN, WI, CO, IA, MO and SD.
They are a free resource and advocacy for North Star Credit Union members.
What to know about Medicare
- Medicare is a complicated subject.
- All of our members will need to take action at some point in their life to activate this benefit.
- People are eligible to receive Medicare insurance at 65 years of age.
- Some delay this benefit due to receiving health insurance through their or their spouse’s continuing employment.
- Some people even assist their loved ones with Medicare. Sharing TruLync Medicare Advisors information to them can save their time and confirm their loved ones are in the right Medicare insurance products for their healthcare needs.
- People as early as 62 are targeted by various insurance companies, insurance brokers, etc.
