North Star Credit Union is one of the credit unions across the state that has partnered with Gillette Children’s Specialty Health Care to raise funds for kids.

During the month of February, $1 chain links and $5 hearts will be available in our Cook, Duluth, Mountain Iron, and Nashwauk.

• Stop into any branch location.
• Donate $1 for each chain link and $5 for each heart.
• Place a name on the chain link or heart.
• These will be placed in the branch throughout the month.

100% of the proceeds raised will go to kids being treated at Gillette Children’s.

Gillette Children’s provides care to patients with complex conditions, rare disorders, and traumatic injuries focusing on “some of the toughest challenges” in pediatric medicine, according to its website. The medical professionals care for brain, bone and movement conditions that require specialized expertise.

Gillette Children’s operate a hospital and four clinics in the Twin Cities and have clinics throughout greater Minnesota. In 2022, they saw patients from 87 Minnesota counties, 41 U.S. states and territories, and six international countries, according to its website.
